We have joined the South Park Swim League for the 2026 Swim Season!

From five-years-old to high schoolers – a season on the Swim Team means that your kid will be swimming better than Nemo in no time. In addition to being a valuable life skill and great exercise, joining our Pirates is a great opportunity to meet other kids that are also members of the pool. Not to mention it’s super fun and kind of a no-brainer.

*Please note – only full pool members may register their children for swim team. Our swim league bylaws require this.*

Yeah, but I’m not sure if I have the time…

Swim Team begins in early May (after school practice) and lasts through the end of June (morning practices once CMS school is out).

That’s a little less than 2 months to mold your kid into the next Michael Phelps. There are no hard-and-fast rules about attendance, but you get what you put into it.

If you have a scheduling conflict – talk to us! We can work with you.

Private swim lessons are also available during the pool season.

But…money?

Your child will receive over 30 hours of competitive swim and stroke instruction and be part of a great team. Not to mention the great coaches that Rama Swim Club is lucky to have. This rivals just about any swim class in Charlotte, plus you can’t put a price on friendship.

A few notes on the 2026 Rama Pirates Season:

SHRIMP TEAM – All 5 and 6 year old swimmers will be on the Shrimp team. Shrimper parents may elect to have their child swim in league events.
LEAGUE TEAM – Any swimmers aged 7 through 18 will compete in our league meets throughout June.

• League swim meets will rotate between League pools, with 2 meets a week
• Swim Team afternoon practices will begin May 4, 2026
• SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION must be complete by May 15, 2026
• Be sure to sign up soon, as we may need to cap registration, based on safety and availability of swim team coaches.

Many hands make light work! We need many, many volunteers to run swim team.
